Pop Flo is a fictitious 3-day music festival in Gainesville, Florida. The festival is hosted at Depot Park by the city of Gainesville at the end of the Spring 2023 semester. This event features numerous well-known pop artists with one highlighted artist each day. It is targeted towards college students who are celebrating the end of the semester, but it is open to everyone. The design is centered around a vibrant color palette, spring-themed illustrations, and the natural beauty of the location. The final deliverables include a logo, 3 posters (front and back), social media ads, merchandise, website homepage, schedule, wristbands, and lanyard name tags.

My group began this project by gathering designs from other music festivals and fun events. We wanted to collect materials that were bright, exciting, and illustrative.

We explored typefaces that were blocky and unique. We also explored simple, san serif typefaces that would provide balance in our fun, vibrant designs.
